Cape Cod Gas
Driver Dispatch Text Messaging Program
This site serves the delivery drivers of Cape Cod Gas, a fuel distribution company. It hosts the company's private job dispatch program and its terms. It is not a public service, and no one outside the company's own drivers is ever messaged.
About Cape Cod Gas
Cape Cod Gas is a fuel distribution company operating in Massachusetts. Its drivers pick up fuel at supply terminals and deliver it to the company's business customers across the region. This program is the operational tool the company uses to assign those pickup and delivery jobs to its drivers by text message.
What the text messages are
- Who sends them: Cape Cod Gas, through its dispatch system.
- Who receives them: only the company's own delivery drivers. No consumers, no customers, and no members of the general public receive these messages.
- What they contain: a driver's assigned job with the customer name, delivery address, fuel grade and gallons, and terminal pickup and release details, plus prompts to update job status.
- Their purpose: the messages are transactional and operational only. No marketing or promotional content is ever sent.
How drivers give consent
There is a single way a driver joins this program. A driver gives express consent when Cape Cod Gas adds them to the dispatch system, at hire or during onboarding. The driver provides their own mobile number and agrees to receive operational dispatch text messages, and the office records that agreement with a date and time. Consent is an affirmative action taken by the driver; it is never pre selected, bundled, or assumed. This is the only way to enroll: there is no public sign up and no web form.
When a driver enrolls, they are told this is the Cape Cod Gas driver dispatch program, that the texts assign jobs and collect pickup and delivery status, that message frequency varies with dispatch activity, that message and data rates may apply, and that they can reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help at any time. Phone numbers are never purchased, rented, sold, or shared, and are used only to run dispatch. See the Privacy Policy for how driver information is handled.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies with dispatch activity, typically a few messages per day per driver. Message and data rates may apply.
